Everyone else seems to be posting. And in an absolute cleaning uproar. Mostly I have just been trying to stay out of the way. As well as the occasional cleaning, of course.
I'm still rather new at this Thanksgiving thing. I figure I'll stop by the bakery and bring cookies for dinner. Everyone likes cookies. And I can't screw that up and have it get jinxed by the hellmouth. Especially with Kennedy's parents attending. That would be bad.
Poor Kennedy, she's really in a tizzy.

Might as well jinx myself right off. This place has been quite boring as of late.
I mean, there was the whole Giles-turning-into-Ripper thing, but he got better. And Kennedy killed that demon, right?
It's almost Halloween.. Anybody feel like dressing up and going out? Partying? Something?
Oh, and there's a lunar eclipse tomorrow night. Anyone that wants to join me in viewing it is welcome. Hey, Giles, the eclipse doesn't usually cause an influx of baddies, does it?
Now....to decide on a costume...any suggestions?

Giles wants to go shopping?
Okay, something's up. Hey, Buffy, Xander, Willow. What was that story I heard about him when you guys were in high school? Oh, right. Who is selling candy here? And who gave Giles some?
On the other hand, if Giles is going shopping, I say the rest of us go with. Maybe he's feeling generous. :)

I'd say a social life....but I don't think I've ever had one of those.
Work, patrol, slay, save Giles from a fate worse than bruised ribs...
Patrol some more, slay some more, work some more...
I'm bored. Very bored.

So far, Dawn hasn't missed her black sweater. And there wasn't anything like it at the mall the other day. BTW, Giles? Thanks so much for the new clothes and new room stuffs. I owe you! A lot. So try not to kill me when you get your bill, okay?
//Firewalled against all in the building//
I think I saw flowers...floating down the hall earlier. Didn't we just have a weird situation going on last week? Why another one already? Wait. It was nothing. Just...too much telly. That's it. Or maybe Colleen was playing with magick again. Yeah, of course. That's all!

New wardrobes can be good, right? Of course. I mean...I have all these costumes now. So, hey, Halloween comes around, anyone in the house is welcome to stop by and grab a dress.
In the meantime, tomorrow, shopping with Xander and Andrew. And the credit card of Giles. Which means in the next few months I shall not be slaying as much as I will be working as many hours as possible at the shop to repay the ever-so-kind Mr. Giles. And replace my savings. And checking. And credit cards.
Next bit o' mischief that comes around? I only pray that it will be less destructive to my financial situation. Guess this is just karma for never helping pay for all the times the Summers' front window got broken back in Sunnydale.
*checks clothes supply*
So, uh, exactly when is Dawn getting back? And what are the chances of the mall having a black sweater exactly like the one I borrowed from her closet?
So, Xander, Andrew? Want to be my fashion consultants? I mean, purely to tell me how stuff looks, of course. Unless any females of the house are not busy tomorrow?

You Are Late Period Western European Nobility. Nothing excites you more than looking sharp, even if it breaks your bank or causes you heat stroke in the middle of summer. Be sure to drink lots and lots of water, because it can get rather warm under 8 layers of velvet and brocade!
What Is Your SCA Clothing Style? brought to you by Quizilla
Whatever. As long as I get to look pretty, and wear the pretty dresses. I'm good. Even if they don't have flowy sleeves. I like frilly stuff.
Xander brought me frilly stuff the other night. I gave him beer. And ale. And mead. I said he had to share, but then he said he wouldn't. I would have gotten angry, but for the frillies. I like frilly stuff. I wonder if Willow or Colleen know any spells to make this sewing go faster. What I didn't tell him was that I kept an extra bottle of mead for me. Ha!
Thank goodness Mum taught me how to sew. I found a sewing machine somewhere in the house. Happen to be using it now. My place is an assortment of gorgeous fabrics and frillies!
And I read something about a big camping trip in Pennsylvania where you can wear these clothes all the time... It's a couple of weeks from now.

Ebay is a wondrous invention!!
Right now, I have flowy sleeve dresses on the way! Should be here tomorrow. And I looked around at work. Celtic Moon, you know, my work, has a couple of medieval-ish flowy sleeve dresses. So I bought those. And am now parading about the house in them!
Such pretty colors...maybe I will go to the park. And twirl in my flowy dress. And after that, I shall come home and email the local medieval group.

Xander's home!!! Finally! We had a party the other night. Which resulted in a lot of drunks much fun.
I guess Dawn is staying the night at her friend's place. Or something like that. Ran into her in the hallway earlier. Literally. Tripped over one of her rather large bags. She started babbling about Spike's abs and happy abs and Janice and not to worry about the amount of luggage. O-kay. Whatever.
I was only on my way to watch "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves". And I think it would be so cool to live in the Middle Ages. To be some medieval nobility. And wear those really long dresses with the huge sleeves. Amazing. Gorgeous outfits. I wonder if there's anywhere I could find that. The clothes, I mean.
Time for Google. Let's see what I find.
*****
Okay...found some pretty dresses...and then I found a sites mentioning medieval clothing and SCA...which is what? So I googled that.
http://moas.atlantia.sca.org/topics/clot.htm
SCA is what? Society for Creative Anachronism?
http://www.sca.org/
Anachronism : http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=anachronism
So, I look up this, and I can be in the fun dresses and medieval? Wow! And when a vamp comes around, I really can say that I can get "medieval on his ass"!!!! LOL!!!
Wow. Flowy sleeves. I want flowy sleeves! In blue. And green. And red. And purple. In green, especially. Because, hey, I'm Irish!!
So, does anyone know where I can get such clothing? Please? Quickly?
Must...have...flowy...sleeves!!!!

Giles is back to normal. And we rescued Andrew. The succubus is gone...
You know what? Last week? Never happened. It was one week, I was seventeen, then, suddenly, wow, I'm eighteen and all that disgusting stuff of last week never happened.
But I guess compared to Buffy, I had a great birthday. I did. Thanks for celebrating it with me, everyone! Let's do it again! Like...this weekend!
Maybe I'll call Sadie, see what she's doing this week.

No no no. Really do not...
Honestly, this goes above and beyond the call of any slayer. Why can't Buffy do this herself? It's her Watcher that's getting booty from the succubus. Oh, ew. Okay, somebody, give me a stake.
And poor Andrew. Went in there alone, to face... Right. Not thinking about it.
Anyway, Ben just stopped by. Andrew went off to face Giles and his...problem. And hasn't returned. So now it's time for the cavalry. Which consists of, right now, me. And Ben. And Buffy, Colleen, Caridad, and Spike, if we can get a hold of him. Off we go. To save Andrew. And Giles, of course. And kill the evil demon thing that has been plaguing the entire house with - right. Never mentioning again.
Come on, guys.

Oh. Oh, dear lord.
Never mind waking up with a headache the size of the entire state of California. I am never drinking again. I figured I'd do a little reading while nursing my hangover today. And...oh, dear lord.
Am definitely enjoying the night out tonight with the girls (and Andrew and Ben). Going to have to.
But, uh, walking in on...ew. Just...ew.
Willow? Uh, any teeny tiny memory spell you might have to block that out from my memory? I'd be eternally grateful.
And I never did get that damn book.

Hiccup. Oops. LOL.
Wasn't I supposed to borrow a book from Giles? I think I was. Shall have to pick it up tomorrow. Sometime.
Books are boring.
//firewalled against all authurish authority types// They let me have no fun. Anybody know where I can get a fake ID? I've heard about them. Back home, no need. Not in Ireland, everybody drinks! "Wedding? I love weddings! Drinks all around!!" LOL. Um...what was it that I was...? Oh, ID. Yes, need a fake one. One that makes me 21. Preferably soon. Bars, cash, wet T-shirt contests
//end firewall//
I am so going to have a headache tomorrow.
Onward with the silliness! And a big thank you to my very briefly old boss from quite-awhile-ago-before-I-left-for-England/Ireland. Sadie. Sounds like I could have that old job back, and still she provides me with a bit o' good ol' Irish whiskey. Hee. Shh! Our secret.
Ooh, hey, Cartoon Network has a Scooby Doo vamp movie on...entertaining. Maybe I can paint my toenails. ...now where did I put the shot glass....

Wow. So need to get to updating this thing more often.
Bad thing that happened lately: Everyone disappeared into another dimension because of a spell.
Good thing that happened lately: Andrew and I and Willow and some others figured it out and brought them back. So, yay.
Another good thing, I guess. Spike is back and he and Buffy are...fixing things?
Oh, speaking of fixing things. Since Andrew was all pimp-y or whatever with helping Spike find Buffy, we're heading out on the town this weekend. Friday night sounds like a great night. And if we have enough fun, why not go out Saturday night as well? Celebrate the birthday of Bridget and the homecoming of the Xand Man!!! Because Friday is my 18th birthday! Which I am quite looking forward to.
Presents aren't necessary...but are appreciated. ;) Best present? Hanging out with everyone again! Haven't seen much of anyone since I've been back from England and Ireland. Been much with the slaying, pretty much every night, and what with everyone going all Twilight Zone...I'm just tired of the same stuff every day. Almost enough to make a girl want to do something a little crazy. Like...ooh! Have an idea! But shhh. Not telling...yet.
Besides. I need to find a man. Who's with me? At least...a little someone to...have fun with, yes?

Welcome back to the United States, Bridget.
Yeah, Andrew and I flew home yesterday?? early morning. My days are still mixed up.
And I think I'm mostly caught up with things in Cleveland. That is, as caught up as I want to be. Let's see. Xander: MIA in Africa (but this is to be expected, I have been assured) Dawn: Recovering from her failed hair experiment and protesting about something by locking herself in her room. (Note to self - should probably visit at some point. Bring offering of extra shiny shampoo for extra shiny hair girl.) Willow: Um...being Willow? With Kennedy? The usual magick and research and whatever, I guess. And helping Colleen start out in the magicks. Colleen and Caridad: In their own category; interesting development there. Did not see that one, um, coming? Not that I wanted to! Or would want to! Um...moving on. Buffy: Spike's alive, so she's not-quite-dealing with that. Or whatever. I believe that is what Dawn is protesting.
And I guess we're all having rent problems or something. Notices being sent.
Anyway, very tired. Lorne, I hope everything is well for you in England as everyone gets everything straightened out. You've excellent taste in music, at least.
Right. Night, all.

Life has been completely insane the past few days. Insanely busy. Insanely insane.
First off, the demon that has been roaming the UK. Mr. Jolly Green. Mr. Giles sent Vi and I out to apprehend him, since he decided to sightsee about London. Surprisingly, he came rather easily. Discounting the screams and squeals that would shame a few of the younger slayers. (I really do not miss the days of residing at Casa de Summers with ten million potentials.)
As it turns out, Andrew's met the demon before. His name is Lorne??? Worked in Los Angeles, California with Buffy's ex, Angel, and that whole crew. It's really too small of a world sometimes. Speaking of "It's a Small World", this Lorne sings. Apparently that was what he was doing in Ireland. Entertaining his "adoring fans" or something like that. All I know is that he was in my home country, he was seen all over, and strangely, dead bodies seemed to follow his path.
The thing is, he seems so nice and not...icky. At least we figured out why he was babbling about Angel food cake.
One other thing about this. Vi's been helping, which is great. I just wish she'd stop with the Nancy Drew. I hate Nancy Drew.
Oh, and tomorrow I'm headed back to the States with Andrew. We're going ahead of Giles to help set up the American consulate of the Watchers Council.
Suppose I should finish packing. And maybe even get some sleep. But first, I think I'll go for a quick patrol. Andrew, care to join me?

I arrived in England yesterday. Giles has gone off to Ireland looking the giant green dude. He's got horns, I heard. Does that help at all? I was just relaying what little knowledge I had, since I hadn't seen it first hand.
It was relaxing to spend time with my family. They threw me an early birthday party, seeing as I'll be turning 18 in July.
//Firewalled against the Council and the slayers therein.// 18th birthday. I've done a lot of reading on slayer history since I've been here. The rite of passage given to a slayer that reaches her 18th birthday. Like Buffy. The Cruciamentum. It'd be absolutely ridiculous to put that archaic ritual into place! There's so many of us, so many slayers.
So it'd be impossible, right? Hmm. Maybe I'll hunt down Andrew and his new friend. Like, when stuff starts to calm down. With all this leprechaun stuff.
//End Firewall.//
Right. Nothing to worry about. The big 1-8's over a month away.
